Starting with a beautiful naturally shed deer antler, this piece is hand crafted at Heartshake Studios. It is wrapped with soft wool roving in a pretty color palette and then painted with luminous metallic copper paint. Each antler comes with a hanging strap made from brown deerskin leather hand-wrapped with copper; the cord can be used to hang the antler on the wall, or you can remove the strap and display the antler as a sculptural object. We will make your antlers in a selection of our favorite and bestselling color palettes!
Small axis antlers are about 10-14" long. As each antler is natural and unique, size and shape will vary. Small axis antlers will have one wool sections, one copper stripe, and one copper tip.
We recommend not handling the antler by the felted sections to ensure longevity. Antler is naturally weathered as it was found in the wild. Deer shed their antlers yearly, so they are not harmed.
